All ITTT online TEFL/TESOL courses are fully accredited by the Online TESOL and TEFL Standards Agency (OTTSA). OTTSA is an organisation that is committed to raising the standard of teacher training in the field of Teaching English as a Foreign Language, with a specific focus on online course providers.
All of our onsite courses are externally moderated and validated by a Board of Academic Advisors. This board is made up of internationally recognised experts in the field of English language teaching, as well as several regional language teaching and training experts. All our training centres around the world receive invaluable advice and support from the board members on a regular basis.
The international experts on our advisory board make regular visits to our many training centres and give presentations at a variety of English language teaching workshops and conferences around the world. These board members are also responsible for monitoring the quality of our training and advising us on ways to ensure that are services are kept in line with the current trends and developments in the field of language training. The international board members are not official moderators, they are experts in the industry that provide our training centres with advice and participate in our many training initiatives.
The regional members on our advisory board provide our centres with the necessary moderation. All these members are highly trained and experienced in teaching, teacher training and management related positions. All our training centres receive a monthly moderation visit from one of our regional board members to ensure that each course meets the industry standards required. They are also responsible for checking the level of approval given by our course participants. These regional board members are not employed directly by ITTT; they are external consultants who regularly meet with our training staff and course participants to review the quality of our training and resources.
