Camp International Activities

Our English Camps provide a variety of activities all taught by native English speaking teachers. Here are descriptions of just a few of the camp activities:

Camp Activity

About Face
This is a computer activity that teaches students to use English and learn about computer animation techniques at the same time.

Blind Football
This is an outdoor activity that teaches students to use English directions in a fun way. It also teaches teamwork.
   
Categories
This is a classroom activity where students match a series of words to a category, as well as come up with their own words to describe a category.
  
Catwalk
This outdoor activity is designed to enhance the confidence of students. Students are secured by ropes for safety and then walk across a log pole suspended 6 meters above the ground.
   
Favorites
This is a classroom activity where students ask other students a series of questions about their favorite.
  
Find Somebody
During this classroom activity students practice asking each other questions in English. They learn to use appropriate question words.

Four-letter Words
This is a classroom activity where students are challenged to form words in a game situation.

Happy Landing
This is an outdoor activity that encourages competition. The students use English to get their team to swing on a rope across an imaginary river faster than the other teams.

My Friend's Cat
This is a classroom activity about using adjectives.

Rock Wall
During this outdoor activity students are instructed in English to climb the Climbing Wall at the school. The purpose of this activity is to challenge the student in order to build self confidence.

Singing Grammar
This classroom activity focuses on some aspect of grammar through singing.

Slow Reveal
This is a classroom activity where students try to guess the identity of a picture as it is slowly revealed.

Spider Web
This outdoor initiate game teaches students the value of teamwork and planning as they attempt to get their whole group through a rope "spider web" situated in the forest next to the camp.

Switch
This is a fun classroom activity where students use English to describe personal attributes and physical appearances.
