18. Additional Comments

The trainee was extremely positive about the course (‘I had a wonderful experience. I learned so much about teaching’). She was very appreciative of the many opportunities she had to observe and teach classes in local schools and of the caring support and help she received from her trainer.

The assignments showed evidence of the trainee’s development as a teacher as well as showing how willing and able she was to reflect on her new experiences as a language learner, as an observer, as a materials developer and as a teacher. By the end of the course she had clearly gained the knowledge, awareness, skills, empathy, enthusiasm, confidence and independence to become a very good teacher of EFL.
