18. Additional Comments

Excellent feedback on a course which was appreciated for being fun and informative at the same time. The trainees found it demanding but very enjoyable and extremely useful as a preparation for a career as teachers of TEFL (‘This month was full of challenges, but I consider

this experience as one of the best in my life, because I have gained

incredible amount of useful knowledge and I was surrounded by very

professional and helpful people.’). They were very grateful for the many opportunities to teach real students and to learn from reflection and feedback on their experience of learning a new language, of lesson planning and of materials development. Above all they were very thankful for the caring and constructive support of their trainers.

The assignments certainly demonstrated a willingness and ability to think critically and creatively and to progress towards the confidence and independence needed to become effective teachers of TEFL.
