Enrol for our TEFL course in Rome and you will be based in the centre of culture and history for Italy, Europe and perhaps the whole world. Experience all that the capital of Italy has to offer at the same time as studying for your TEFL certificate with us.
Rome is the capital of Italy and is also called ‘the Eternal City’. This vibrant city has so much to offer visitors that it is hard to know where to start. With many centuries of history right on your doorstep you can visit any one of a number of interesting places or simply relax and soak up the sunshine with a cold ‘gelato’ (ice cream). This is also a thoroughly modern city that emerged from World War II relatively intact so the centre of the city still has many buildings of Baroque and Renaissance character. It is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
The city of Rome is home to a number of fascinating Roman buildings such as the Colosseum which was the largest amphitheatre ever constructed during the Roman Empire. Other monuments include the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Catacombs of Rome, the Circus Maximus and the Bocca Della Verita, to name but a few.
Rome is also the home of many festivals and cultural events such as exhibitions, concerts and shows which run throughout the entire year. From fashion to modern art and theatre, there is something for everyone in Rome.
Attending our TEFL course in Rome and then teaching English is probably the best way to experience all that this culturally rich and historic country has to offer. The city of Rome is located on the West coast of Italy, approximately mid-way down. The city is large but the historic centre is compact and easily traversed on foot. Rome is only 18 kilometres from the sandy coastal beaches and is therefore perfectly located to combine a busy city life with the more laid back Mediterranean lifestyle. There is a huge demand for EFL teachers throughout Italy and even more so in Rome itself. Obtaining our world renowned TEFL certificate in Rome will therefore give you every advantage in starting your teaching career.
The climate in this city is typically Mediterranean, with long hot summers where the temperature can often be higher than the average of 32C (90F). Spring and autumn are generally warm with milder temperatures but in winter it can get a little cold, although the weather is still usually clear and sunny.
