The wonderful amphitheatre of Italica is seven kilometres to the North of Seville and was once the third largest city in the Roman Empire, featuring beautiful mosaics and relics.

Seville's Climate
It is said that Seville has the best climate in Spain during the spring and autumn seasons, with mostly warm and sunny days. In summer it can get hot with temperatures in June through to September reaching as high as 40ºC. Winter lasts from December until February with average temperatures of 16°C (61°F). Rainfall mostly occurs between October and March but is usually not heavy.
