18. Additional Comments

The trainees were happy with the course and especially with the guidance and positive support they received from their trainers. They considered their experience to be both enjoyable and very rewarding as a preparation for their new careers as teachers of EFL. By the end of the course they not only felt that they had gained the knowledge, skills and awareness they need to become effective classroom teachers but that they hd become both confident and enthusiastic as well (‘I had a wonderful experience! I learned a lot about how to teach and all the proper components necessary for a good lesson. I gained confidence in my teaching abilities.’)

The trainees’ assignments showed how seriously they took the course and how insightful and creative they became I applying what they learned to the realities of  planning lessons, developing materials and teaching classes of real students.
