Volunteer France - Service Learning in France - France / Madagascar School Project

Looking to improve your French while helping others? This unique travel/study/volunteer combination might be exactly what you are looking for.

Your journey begins in Mauzac, France, a quaint French village nestled in the Dordogne river just inland from Bordeax.

After your initial training in TESOL you spend the next month in either Cameroon or Madagascar teaching English in local schools.

We understand your varied requirements and the time constraints arising from your busy schedule. Hence, we have come up with some wonderful combinations of courses and teaching positions, both long and short term.
 
1. One week of training and one month of volunteering (Project fee: $1,290 US)
  • TESOL Certificate course training in Mauzac, France, for one week + self study
  • Non-paid teaching position for one month as a volunteer in a local school.
  • Optional French language classes
  • Free accommodation all through the project.
  •  Free airport pick up.
2. One month of training and one month of volunteering (Project Fee: $1990 US)
  • TESOL Certificate course training in Mauzac, France, for one week + self study
  • Travel to either Cameroon or Madagascar
  • Non-paid teaching position for one month as a volunteer in a local school.
  • Optional French language classes
  • Free accommodation all through the project.
  • Free airport pick up.
*Fees are determined based on rounded figures compiled from averages. As we are willing and able to be flexible with different schedules, some placements will cost more or less for accommodation based on length of stay and area. Please contact us for more specific details!

Participants must be:

* At least 19 years old
* Competent English speakers
 
Dr. Bill Leon, and instructor in the Program Evaluation department atthe University of Washington, specializing in Education Program Evaluation, will develop a credit evaulation of your program for university credit.
