The beautiful and captivating city of Rome is unsurprisingly one of the most visited cities in Europe, if not the entire world. Centuries of fascinating history have left behind numerous iconic buildings and monuments that will simply take your breath away. Landmarks such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain are just a few of the better known attractions you will not want to miss. Of course, the Eternal City is not just a marvel of cultural history. World famous italian cuisine can be enjoyed in countless cafés, bars and restaurants throughout the city, whilst shopping opportunities are everywhere from street markets to high-end boutiques.
Right in the heart of Rome you will find yet another must-see attraction, the Vatican City. The world's smallest independent state is blessed with many extraordinary sights including St. Peter's Square, where the Pope regularly celebrates Mass in front of huge crowds, and the Sistine Chapel with its famous painted ceilings. Once you have enjoyed the many sites you may wish to escape the hustle and bustle of the city by heading for the coast. Just a short bus ride will take you to a variety of stunning beaches where you can relax and soak up the sun or cool off in the crystal clear water. Due to the many amazing things to see and do, our TEFL center in Rome is always a very popular option.
The climate in the city is typically Mediterranean, with long hot summers where the temperature can often be higher than the average of 32C (90F). Spring and autumn are generally warm with milder temperatures but in winter it can get a little cold, although the weather is still usually clear and sunny.
The TEFL certification course in Rome is based in a modern building on the outskirts of the city center, close to major attractions such as the Vatican, the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. The training center has spacious and airy classrooms that create the perfect atmosphere for teaching and learning. You will also find plenty of resources available for planning your lessons, and when you are not teaching or studying you will find many places to unwind in the surrounding neighborhood including cafés, bars and restaurants.
A popular addition to the TEFL course in Rome is an intensive Italian language program. This optional course consists of four weeks training provided by a highly regarded Italian language school that is fully recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education. Classes are small in size and made up of students from all over the world, making for a fantastic multi-cultural atmosphere in the classroom. The course is undertaken before you begin the TEFL certification course so it is a great way to learn about the Italian language and culture before you start your training.Apply Now!
